Barry David Lewis, Edmond, OK, passed away on December 18, 2020. He was born on September 6, 1982, in Tulsa, OK. Barry attended elementary school at Grace Fellowship Christian School in Broken Arrow, OK, middle school, high school, and community college in Charlotte, NC.
Barry volunteered at Hope Center of Edmond in the food room for several years. He was a dedicated volunteer and looked forward to his job stocking shelves, bagging groceries, and greeting clients.
Barry had a sweet spirit and a smile as big as life. He brought joy and love everywhere he went. His handsome charm and laughter were more than contagious. He had the ability to turn your day around. He loved dancing and singing and making the most joyful noise ever. His love for God was big and he loved to praise and worship uninhibited.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Carol Lewis of Edmond; brother Mike and his wife Rachel of Edmond; brother Mark and his wife Robin of Charlotte, NC; four nieces and two nephews; Aunt Marie, aka Sweet Thing, and Uncle Bill Rogers of Charlotte, NC.
The family will gather at Barry’s home and will join a Zoom call with out-of-town family members to celebrate his life, share memories, and tell Barryisms!
