Betty Gail (Davis) Whitlock

Obituary

Betty Whitlock, 67, of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully March 20, 2022 in Oklahoma City OK.  Born Betty Gail Davis September 2, 1954 to Billy Davis and Shirley Albright in a small town in Texas.  

Betty grew up in Ontario California until she moved to Oklahoma in the 1970s. Throughout her life she lived between the beautiful Southern California and here in Oklahoma. Her last move to Oklahoma City was in 1993. Betty retired about 10 years ago and she spent her retirement as a proud and involved daughter, mother and grandmother until she passed. Betty was a fierce  protector of her family and loved ones. 

She is preceded in death by her father Billy Davis, her sister Norma Davis, her daughter Tonya Archer,  her nephew Robert Davis.  

She is survived by her mother Shirley Albright, son Jason Whitlock and his wife Tasha Whitlock, her  many grandchildren Taylor Sluder of Blanchard OK, Lane Archer, Hayden Whitlock, Cali Archer, Kyla  Archer and her great grandson Landon Carter Stafford along with her niece LeAnne Manning and her  two great nephews Christopher and Joseph. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but we  are happy for her that she is reunited in Heaven with her baby girl Tonya.  

It was Betty’s wish to be cremated. Her cremation is being cared for by Reflection Pointe Gardens cremation  service in Oklahoma City. There will be no formal services but a celebration of her life and story swap for  her family and closest friends, to be announced.
