He went directly to work for Miller Norris, working his way from delivery man to Vice President. Through various company mergers he ended his 45 year career in sales with Lagasse, Inc.
David's greatest enjoyment was his great grandchildren. He was an avid OU fan, also enjoying golf, gardening, cars of all kinds, game nights, travel, and possessing an exceptional art for photography. Spending hours with his great grandchildren and taking pictures were his passion. He is a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church.

David will always be remembered for his gentle spirit, kindness, and caring for everyone he met. One of his favorite quotations was "I will either find a way or make one." David was the example of how a man should be.
"I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence...I often speak your name. All I have are memories, and your pictures in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart."
Private burial at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma. Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
