Derek Michael Brandes , age 36 went to Heaven March 19,2022 in Durant, Ok.

Derek is survived by his mother Wendy Sweeney of Indianapolis, Indiana, father Michael Brandes of Mansfield, Tx, his sister Erica Brandes of Cache, Ok, and sister Amanda Brandes-Ferrell, her husband Dakota Ferrell, and their sons Hudson Ferrell and Dakota Ferrell Jr  of Chickasha ,Ok. His son Landon Michael Brandes and girlfriend Jaimie Mealor of Hendrix,Ok. Grandparents Dennis and Joanne Sweeney of Tucson, Az and grandma Sallie Baker-Brandes of Mansfield,Tx

He is preceded in death by grandpa Wesley Walton Brandes of Amarillo,Tx 

Derek was born on June 04,1985 in Lawton, Ok to  parents Wendy Sweeney and Michael Brandes. Derek met the love of his life ,Jaimie , in October 2019 and they brought a beautiful baby boy into the world January 16,2021 Landon Michael

His family will remember him as a BIG ,funny, loving man with a goofy laugh 

A memorial service for Derek will be held at Reflection Point in Oklahoma City March  25,2022
