Eunice Marie (Shipman) Tuck
Obituary
Marie Shipman Tuck was born January 25, 1925 in Vera, TX to Ross and Lena Shipman, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2023. Marie was the seventh of ten children born into this close-knit family of seven boys and three girls. She married T. J. (Jack) Tuck on February 16, 1946 at her parents' farm in Seymour, TX. Their marriage continually grew stronger based on their deep love for each other and a sound commitment to God and His plan for their lives. She was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated herself to making a contented, happy home for her beloved Jack and their two daughters.
Marie was preceded in death by Jack, her husband of 67 years, her parents, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters. She is survived by her two daughters; Patricia Chaney and husband Tom of Oklahoma City and Jackye Hart of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Ashley Nopper and husband Brian of Castle Rock, CO, Jay Chaney and wife Jayme of Oklahoma City, and Whitney Casas and husband Jaime of Houston, TX. Marie was especially proud of her 4 great-grandsons: Coleman Nopper, Rowan Casas, Everett Casas, and Harrison Chaney. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dora Tuck Covington of Sherman, TX. She was cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Integris Hospice House, 5710 NW 130th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73142, in memory of E. Marie Tuck.
