Geary Don Cribbs, age 79, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on October 28, 2022.
Geary was born in Altus, Oklahoma on February 21, 1943 to his parents Everett and Bernice Cribbs. He was raised with his siblings in a rural farming community. He graduated from Friendship High School in 1961. He married his best friend, Linda Tigert Cribbs, on December 5, 1962. They lived in the Altus area until 2012 when they moved to Edmond, OK to be closer to their children. They were married for almost 57 years until Linda passed in 2019.
Geary worked for Republic Gypsum in Duke, Oklahoma for 37 years. He then went on to work for Humphrey’s Coop for 8 years. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, plants and being outdoors. He was a dedicated member of Jehovah’s Witnesses his entire life. He was a valued and respected member of the community. He gave valuable advice and was greatly admired by friends and family alike.
He is survived by his son Breck Cribbs and wife Nilzia, and daughter Farrah Tebow. Seven grandchildren: Burgundy Howes and husband Kyle, Cullen Tebow, Cooper Tebow, Cathleen Malave and husband Danny, Tatiana Ferguson and husband Seth, Nathan Waller, Zachary Huff and wife Morgan. He is also survived by three siblings: Cody Cribbs and wife Loretta, Karen Miranda and husband Gary, Donna Mims and husband Bob and many other cherished family and friends. 2022
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 on November 12, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The address is 9100 N. Eastern Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
