Jeffery Lynn Hamar

Jeff was born June 5th 1955 in Thomas, Ok to Curtis and Phyllis Hamar. He went to his heavenly home on January 17th 2022. Jeff was raised in his early years in Thomas before his family moved to
Oklahoma City. He graduated in 1973 from Putnum City West High School.

Jeff worked several jobs over the years including long haul trucking, in the oil field, CNC machinist, Imation and Danlin Industries before retiring to be a full-time farmer and rancher. He enjoyed
farming and ranching for over 50 years. His favorite hobby was gardening and sharing his crop with many friends. As well, he enjoyed his rescue dogs for over 30 years.

Jeff married Sharon McCorkle on October 14th 1983. They had two daughters, Calli Terrah and Ryanne Lynn. They returned to Thomas in 1998 as he finished his degree of Bachelor Science in
Computer Science at SWOSU.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughters Calli of Yukon, Ok and Ryanne of Thomas, Ok, Nephews Tyler and Thomas Chernicky, and nieces Katharine Chernicky, Michele Rayburn and Melissa Anderson. Also, life long friends Richard Avants, Terry Staats and Mark Conkling.

He loved his family, being outdoors, animals and visiting with his friends!
