Monte Ray Taylor
Obituary
Monte R. Taylor was born January 9, 1965, in Enid, Oklahoma to Leslie Don Taylor and Flossie M. Taylor. He passed away February 21, 2023, at his home in Foss, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years.
Monte grew up in the Enid community before moving to Arapaho, Oklahoma, and it was there that he graduated from high school. He worked in the oilfield most of his life. He hauled drilling fluids for years, and worked his way up to driller on a drilling rig.
He loved creating pottery. He loved to fish. He loved life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Monte is survived by one son, Jesse Taylor; two sisters; Donna Lispi and Sherry Blackmon; and one brother, Tom Taylor.
