Bob was born at Ft. Sill National Hospital, Ft. Sill , Oklahoma. He graduated from Eisenhower High School, and attended Cameron University, both in Lawton Oklahoma. Early in life he worked as a draftsmen and for the State of Oklahoma in the IT department. Most of his adult life he worked in the moving business, both as having his own business and later worked at Able Movers. The last few years of his life he could no longer work due to congestive heart failure.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert J. Lanctot. He is survived by his mother Penny Beiter and stepfather Larry Beiter of Oklahoma City; sister Tammy Ashley of Midwest City; daughter Roni Rodriguez of Lindsey; son Stormy Simmons of Oklahoma City, nephew TJ Ashley and his wife Jasmine, and their son Caiden all of Choctaw, and too many friends to count. His ashes are being spread at the Ft. Sill National Wildlife Refuge where he loved to climb and commune with nature.
He was always willing to help anyone in need and will be greatly missed and the emptiness of his passing can not be measured.
