Romera (Wallis) Welch
Obituary
Romera Welch was born in Temple, Oklahoma, on January 21, 1936, and passed away to be with our heavenly father on April 18, 2023. She grew up in Wheatland, Oklahoma and lived in Oklahoma City and Binger, Oklahoma.
Romera is preceded in death by her parents John and Eva Wallis; five brothers: Joe, Buddy, Howard, Jack and Ray; and two children, son, Gary and daughter, JoAnn.
Romera is survived by two sisters, Mary Faye, and Armelda; two brothers, Calvin and Dean; three daughters, Jessie, Judy and Donna; ten grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Romera loved family, reading, putting puzzles together, great country and gospel music. She was a bright light and shining star for us all. Her smile would light up any room and her laughter was contagious. While Romera will be extremely missed, those who know her will be comforted knowing she is with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
